Restaurant Manager  
 

We are looking for a talented, strong and extremely experienced Restaurant Manager.
 

Marameo is an award-winning, high-volume venue that requires a person with extensive knowledge and passion for the industry. The ideal candidate will lead from the front and take pride in training their team in order to maximize guest satisfaction. Communication will be key to succeeding in this role.

About The Role
 

  • Previous experience within a similar role is essential.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.

  • Ability to create and follow processes and structure, including restaurant manuals and SOP’s.

  • Full understanding and experience of COG & reading P&L’s

  • Daily reporting to management is key.

  • Working with and understanding KPIs.

  • Proficient in working with Tyro, Ordermate and Now Book It, is desired.

  • Committed to regularly training and up-skilling staff.

  • Committed to retaining staff and identifying future leaders.

  • Consistent in conducting regular staff meetings.

  • Controlling full roster management.

  • Daily communication and professional relationships with Head Chef is extremely important.

  • Offer professional support to the marketing and events team.

  • Consistently communicate all planned events, promotions, functions and seasonal menus.

  • A passion for service excellence.

  • Positive attitude and self-motivation.

  • Ability to think on your feet and work in a very fast paced environment.

  • Committed to understanding the importance of communication to the management team.

  • Take pride in their work environment and team.
